Between a move back to Rohnert Park, being banned from bikeguide, having my posts removed from Hempista, and winter back dilemmas – I majorly slacked on updates.

New Years was pretty mellow compared to last years. Remember this doodle from Issue #5? I’ll have a complete back-log of Ice Cold available for purchase soon enough. I’ll be wrapping up Volume #1 with Issue #9. Who needs number ten.

I’ve been swinging by the Sebastopol Skate-park recently. Also seen in Sweet Spots, this park is pretty rad. It doesn’t allow bikes however. I’m considering approaching the local park representatives with a written plan. Anyone else down to sign along? The park looks awesome either way. They even have a legal graffiti wall. Recently, Andrew Jackson Allen (thanks Chris!) of Sasquatch Canyon, took a trip to Austin, Tx. for the Anthem II premier. There have also been premiers around the US with a few in Cali. I haven’t catched the film yet myself, but I am really looking foward to it. Check out links to Anthem II from: SC & Nice!.

Nice Brand, is mentioned in the above article. They have a super rad hemp pivotal seat. Even Eric Linchtenberg use to rock one. I’d seen mention of CVLT, doing a earth-recyclable inspired line as well. All rad stuff, IMHO. Wouldn’t it be cool to see a plastic pedal company offer a recycling program, as mentioned in past articles?

I haven’t kept in contact with Michael Ardelean as much as I use to. I use to email Mike from time-2-time – with post idea’s for the Grip Gang. Mike doesn’t really need the help with posts with awesome additions like this or that, but he was always a positive influence. He recently shared this awesome video. I’m still, always down for awesome zine trades! Riley recently traded for copies of “No Bummers” – super stoked, Prashant sent along another copy of “Yo Sick #8” – darn coffee/thanks bud, & my own little sister made her first zine – Milk it does a body good!

Speaking of neglect, Alexi still hasn’t responded to my question if she wants to do an “IceColdxImBoyCrazy” sticker. I may just have to call into to her RADIOpodcast, every Wednesday starting at 9 PM (PST).

Nick is taking pre-orders for HS#8. Sure to be a good one! Hey Nick… I still need a copy of #7, maybe even #6. I’ll send some $$$ soon!

Nick recently returned from the Gypsy Tour with the HS-Crew. Check out a promo here. I heard Dean Sleeper was in attendance. Dean had a small stint in S-R, before Ice Cold left as well, and was awesome to have around! Hope all is well back home buddy, thanks for showing me the ropes.

Smoove is taking over the 1-2′s, @ NitaNita again. If I lived on the East-Coast, I’d travel to these. Hell you can almost fit all the East-Coast states into the West-Coast based upon this illustration. Oh yeah… buy one of these as well!

Sorry for the lack of the updates. Go check out Yo Sick! if you haven’t already! The new issues are great. Ice Cold went back to a smaller size with this issue, a sort of fun edition. Sweet Spots will be a new little form of Ice Cold coming out every once in awhile (probably faster then the issues themselves), keep your eyes peeled! Check out the poster on the inside!

Someone who hasn’t been slackin’ has been Nick Ferreria. When not crankin’ out awesome issues of Holeshot, or rad segments on ESPN, he’s not working with NICE! Congrats dude you rule – stoked your hear your working with such a rad company. Now I have even more a reason to pick-up one of those hemp seats, Empire here I come.
